Rules & Regulations

Participation Details

Every single team consist 6 + 2 players including 2 men’s double, 1 mixed double + 2 substitute players (optional). For substitute players, only 1 male and 1 female are allowed. Each participant must be 21 years or above and no country restriction.
Within the 6 player’s playing list, only 2 current/former national players, state players are allowed.
Each player is not allowed to play twice in team battles.
After the registration deadline, no replacement of players is allowed, including substitute players.
Any violation to the rules above, the player will be disqualified with immediate effect and the particular match played by the player will be voided.

Competition System

The game will be played in a 2-round robin format.

First round-robin game:

Each team will compete with the playing list given on that day before the game started, no amendments are allowed after submission.
Each match will be played in a round of 30 points without additional points for deuce
Each team will be distributed to 4 divisions “A, B, C, D”, and there will be four teams in each division for first round-robin game
Each team in each division must play against the other three teams in the division
In the games between teams, priority will be given to the total number of games won; if the total number of games won is the same, the winner will be determined by the team’s total score
After the end of the first round-robin,

The top-ranked team in each division will play the final round-robin game against the top-ranked teams in other divisions (“CHUAN” final round-robin division)
The second-ranked team in each division will play the final round-robin game against the second-ranked teams in other divisions (“YANG” final round-robin area)
The third and fourth ranked teams in each division will be eliminated

Final round-robin game:

Each team will compete with the playing list given on that day before the game started, no amendments are allowed.
Each match will be played in a round of 30 points without additional points for deuce.
The divisions of final round-robin game “CHUAN” and “YANG” will determine their respective rankings.
Each team in each division must play against the other three teams in the division.
In the games between teams, priority will be given to the total number of games won; if the total number of games won is the same, the winner will be determined by the team’s total score.
After the end of the final round-robin, the respective ranking within division of “CHUAN” and “YANG” will be awarded as the following:

The 1st and 2nd ranked teams will receive the champion and runner-up awards
The 3rd and 4rd ranked teams will receive the joint third place awards
